Not sure what area you’d like to search in? Athens has four main neighborhood districts: Five Points, Normaltown/Prince Ave, Downtown and Chicopee-Dudley.

Five Points is within walking distance of the UGA campus and is very student-oriented, making the neighboring communities seem like an extension of the University. Normaltown is famous for it’s restaurants and bars and is home to Athenians most favorite haunts. Check out Normaltown below, but Cobbham is pretty close.

Downtown Athens sits between the residential section of Athens and the UGA campus. With the plethora of bars, shops, restaurants and music venues, it is the area’s cultural hub of activity.

Chicopee-Dudley encompasses the East side of Athens and is mainly a residential area surrounding the North Oconee River Greenway and Trail Creek Park.
